The Arts

“We are champions of good inter-cultural arts practice”

ArtsEkta is established because of the increasing demand from the public across the country for a better understanding of ethnic arts and cultures. This demand comes from educational estblishments, health authori ties, private companies and communities. Northern Ireland is evolving as a fast growing global economy. It now relies heavily on international investment and human resources in many of the growing industries and in public services. Employers, local councils and community groups are taking steps to ensure mutual respect between host and migrant communities. ArtsEkta facilitates greater understanding and tackles social exclusion problems, sectarianism and racism through the arts.
