A fusion festival of music, arts and crafts, storytelling, nature walks and cultural workshops
We teamed up with Belfast City Council and Ulster Wildlife have to put in place to co-design a new festival at the Bog Meadows Nature Reserve as part of the £5.1million EU PEACE IV-funded Forth Meadow Community Greenway project.
The project seeks to educate local communities about the return of the African sedge warblers, willow warblers, house martins and swallows to Bog Meadows, who migrate each year. The Bog Meadows is transformed into a nature wonderland of African and local music, drumming, street performance, traditional food and a very special Duck Derby competition.
