Amal at Beann Mhadagáin
Amal’s journey in Belfast comes to an end. As we bid her farewell she will come Beann Mhadagáin – Ben Madigan, known today as Cavehill, to meet the Tuatha Dé Danann; Ireland’s ancient deities and fairy folk who reside in the otherworld.
There will be a fire ceremony to honour The Morrigan, An Dagda, Manannán Mac Lir and Bríd, bringing the elements of Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Spirit together to create magic in order to provide protection to Amal for her onward journey.
Join us to say goodbye to Amal with a magical evening of music, dance and street performance inspired by centuries old Celtic mythology.
The event is located in the grounds of Belfast Castle. Please note parking is available in the grounds of Cave Hill Park on a first come, first served basis. Further designated arrangements have been made at Ben Madigan School near to the park.
