The Gathering Place was a sculptural installation around which outreach activities and creative gatherings took place over a period of three years.

Participants were offered opportunities to literally form the walls of this space from their own personal creative practices. The installation  developed and grew with the input of everyone, creating an ever-expanding structure which reflects the diverse and interconnected communities in Northern Ireland

An integrated public engagement campaign led by Voluntary Arts Ireland mapped the journeys of the panels as they are created across Northern Ireland and return to be collectively be amalgamated within the structure.
