Flying Dragon

The Flying Dragon dancers amaze young and old with their daring acrobatic feats. The brightly coloured costumes of the playful lions and ferocious dragons, the sounds of drums, gongs, cymbals, and showering of fortune cookies delight the senses as these skilled martial artists display their physical strength and expertise in weaponry.

The lion and dragon dances are traditional Chinese art performed on big occasions, such as the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) for good luck, as it is believed that the lion and dragon are auspicious animals.

Performed in a lion and dragon costumes, accompanied by the music of beating drums, clashing cymbals, and resounding gongs, the dances imitate a various movements and demonstrate martial arts agility.
