Templemore Baths & Victorian Workhouse Heritage Tour

This heritage-focused tour explores two significant aspects of Belfast’s Victorian social history.

Participants will begin with a guided visit to Templemore Baths, learning about the role Victorian bathhouses played in public health and community life.

The group will then explore the history of the Victorian workhouse system, examining how these institutions shaped the lives of many Belfast residents during the 19th century. Between visits, participants will enjoy tea, coffee, and freshly baked scones, offering time for conversation and reflection.

Shared Roots is part of the From Multiculturalism to Interculturalism led by ArtsEkta, Kabosh and Cairde na Cille under the Belfast Local Community Action Plan, supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
