Do Not Disturb
A ritual performance procession inspired by Ciaran Carson’s “Belfast Confetti’
As Amal climbs to Colin Glen, she joins the people of Belfast, laden with artefacts of memory and pain. Together, they trudge up the historic hill to an open pit, where ceremony and memorial combine, and the fragmented pieces of our past are laid to rest.
While the earth is freshly turned, join Amal in planting a new forest of oaks, to mark our memories and her visit. As time passes, these memories will break down to mulch, nourishing and fortifying our future, and in turn, once again become a living part of the breath of Belfast’s future.
No tickets are required. Please enter via the Mountain Entrance to the park from 10.30am. Parking is available on site.
