From: A Friend will encourage older people from some of the hardest to reach BME communities (Indian, African & Chinese) and people living with Alzheimer’s to exchange wisdom, experiences and memories with others outside of their immediate geographic, social and ethnic groups.

Developed in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society, ASCONI, Coleraine Ethnic Over 50’s and ArtsEkta’s Older Person’s Group the project will use creative writing, visual arts, crafts, storytelling and music to generate creative dialogue around issues of ageing, helping communities to connect and stimulate a sense of belonging. The project will culminate in a public touring exhibition launched during Arts & Age Festival 2018.
