A light and sculptural exhibition celebrating the stories and memories of older people

Participants created illuminated paper carved scenes in light boxes based on their own memories and experiences. Some of the participants crafted a collection of ceramic buildings to create an illuminated village. Participants also worked on a cross-cultural ceramics project creating animals which will be displayed in water-based surroundings. They also created large-scale collaborative pieces which were contributed to by all participants to create this installation working with a range of artists including Peter Surgioner, Kerrie Hanna, Alice Murphy and Karolina Baldyga.

The final exhibition was launched in August 2023 at 2 Royal Avenue and welcomed back all the participants to view their creative work and connect with a wider audience.
